Say goodbye to the old year with joy and welcome the new year with laughter. On the occasion of bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, on behalf of DEREN Electronics, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks and blessings for the New Year to all the employees who have worked hard for the company in the past year, to my colleagues who still stick to their jobs and production lines during the festival, and to leaders and partners at all levels who care about and support the development of the company.

The past 2021 was a year of steady development of the company, and it was also a year in which we worked together. Under the severe impact of epidemic situation at home and abroad and the pressure of economic situation, all the staff of DEREN strove forward and faced difficulties, adjusted their development strategies in time according to market changes, concentrated resources to promote the steady and upward development of the company's core industries, and strengthened the internal management of each business division to ensure the sustainable and healthy development of the company. In 2021, the company ranked 18th among the top 100 electronic component enterprises in China, and won the title of "Top 500 Enterprises in Shenzhen" again, which is the result of the joint efforts of all the staff of DEREN, and also the affirmation and recognition of our strength from all walks of life.

Looking back on this year, like many enterprises, we struggled under the pressure of epidemic situation. First of all, I would like to thank all DEREN people for their practical spirit of daring to break through, surpass and try. It is you who faced the challenges in 2021 with hard work and achieved encouraging results.

After more than half a year, the company's fixed increase landed perfectly, and the total amount of funds raised exceeded 1.6 billion yuan. The full completion of this issuance reflects the recognition and optimism of the capital market for the company's development strategy and prospects. The raised funds will focus on two major investment directions: core areas and core technologies, accelerate the development of high-speed transmission connectors and upgrade the global new energy vehicle business, and strengthen core competitiveness.

On the one hand, the household appliance industry suffers from the dilemma of rising raw material prices and no delivery date for imported materials; On the other hand, customer demand plans are frequently adjusted, with tight delivery and heavy tasks. However, Qingdao DEREN team still turned the tide in adversity, solved customers' supply difficulties, demonstrated the strength of the company, won praise from customers, and achieved new highs in sales and profits.

Under the pressure of the epidemic, we went against the trend, and DEREN's second overseas manufacturing base successfully landed in Vietnam. The establishment of DEREN Vietnam is an important measure for the company to expand its production capacity and make its business bigger and stronger on a global scale, and it is also an innovative breakthrough for the company to adapt to the development of the times.

The KSD team overcame the threat brought by the fluctuation of production capacity and the shortage of production capacity parts, actively cooperated with FAW-Volkswagen to complete the established output, and obtained a thank-you letter from FAW-Volkswagen. KSD has won the honors of Best Supplier, Excellent Partner and Excellent Production Contribution Award from internationally renowned customers such as FAW-Volkswagen and Volvo for many years. The thank-you letter received from FAW-Volkswagen is another affirmation and recognition of our service by customers, and fully embodies the company's service tenet of "using our efforts to ensure the success of customers". At the same time, KSD successfully completed the construction and capping of the new factory in Tianjin, as well as the site selection and preparation of the Chengdu factory, laying a solid foundation for future business development and industrial layout.

The heavyweight project of cooperation between META and PSA was successfully put into production and realized large-scale supply; Formally reached a cooperation with Beam Automobile, and was designated as the exclusive supplier of "ODP Integrated Vehicle Power Management Module" project. The products will be designed in full accordance with BMW technical standards in Germany, and the performance index is leading in China. With the advancement of the project, the sales volume is expected to multiply. META gradually increases domestic R&D and market development, and plans to build a new production base in Yibin to meet the production needs of domestic customers.

When the calendar turned a new page, we stood on a new starting line. The company has successfully passed the most difficult period, and its asset-liability ratio has been greatly improved. However, due to the global impact of the epidemic, the shortage of chips, the rising cost of bulk raw materials, frequent natural disasters at home and abroad and other factors, the situation is still grim in 2022, and all business units will inevitably encounter greater tests and challenges.

We should clearly recognize the problems existing in the team and the difficulties that may be encountered in the future. The whole team should make concerted efforts, strengthen their faith, forge ahead and demand themselves with higher standards. By optimizing production technology, strengthening intelligence and informationization, integrating upstream and downstream resources, reducing costs and increasing efficiency, the internal management level can be improved.

We should continue to increase cost reduction and efficiency increase, adhere to the principle of "four elements and three satisfactions", develop enterprises with a brand-new vision, and strengthen the basic development elements of enterprises such as "quality, cost, service and innovation" around the basic concepts of "customer satisfaction, shareholder satisfaction and employee satisfaction":

1. Product quality reflects the core competitiveness of the company. We continue to gain customer recognition and even become bigger and stronger. The first condition is to ensure product quality, reduce defective rate and increase customer satisfaction.

2. Strengthen cost control, improve the economic benefits of the company around increasing income and reducing expenditure, optimize the quality of the company and minimize the cost, so that the enterprise can better resist risks and obtain healthy and sustainable development opportunities.

3. Improve service attitude, enhance service awareness and quality, and unswervingly uphold the service tenet of "using our efforts to ensure customer success". Only by obtaining customer satisfaction can we continue to create profits and value for the company.

4. Technological innovation is the basic premise for the survival and development of enterprises, and it is also the inevitable choice for enterprises to enhance their development ability and cope with market competition. To win the market competition, we must strengthen technological innovation, emancipate the mind, grasp the development trend, improve the technical content of products, and build and maintain the advantages of the industry.

At the same time, formulate a reasonable and effective internal incentive mechanism, so that more people who are willing to pay for the company can get more returns and recognition accordingly. Improve the employment mechanism, establish a scientific talent selection and equal competition mechanism, and select talents from competition and hard work, so that capable people can be respected and recognized. Advocate the survival of the fittest mechanism of "capable people go up and mediocre people go down", create a corporate culture of "helping each other in the same boat", make common progress, and maintain the long-term healthy and stable development of enterprises. Advocating the enterprise style of "building a new style and promoting healthy trends" and adhering to correct values, the company should vigorously promote anti-corruption publicity and education, strengthen discipline education, severely crack down on bad style from the legal level, and ensure that anti-corruption work is implemented.

DEREN Electronics started its business in 1989. Since 33 years ago, we have created the brand of "DEREN Electronics" with product quality and service. Under the new historical conditions, great changes have taken place in the internal and external environment. We should change the old thinking, strengthen the sense of innovation, and develop with a pioneering vision and a creative way. In the future, we will uphold the concept of innovation and development, so that enterprises and brands can develop for a longer time and continue to write brilliantly.
