On November 6, 2020, Volvo's annual supplier conference was successfully held in Chengdu, with the theme of "Ten Brilliant Years, Continuing to Create the Future". It focuses on thanking the excellent suppliers who have made outstanding contributions to Volvo's development in the Asia-Pacific region and the world in the past ten years.
Since Volvo was acquired by Geely in 2010, its sales volume has increased by double-digit percentages year by year. Even during the 2020 epidemic, the Volvo market sales volume in China has maintained a high growth rate, and the market is spread all over the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the United States. This remarkable change also proves Volvo's success in the past 10 years.
Changchun KSD Auto Parts Co., Ltd. is a joint venture company owned by DEREN Electronics. Since 2017, it has been recognized by Volvo Asia Pacific customers with its strong market capability and complete R&D and manufacturing capabilities, and has obtained the first automotive wiring harness business P514, a high-performance electric vehicle. In 2018, KSD won the low-voltage wiring harness and 48V battery wiring harness business of S60 sedan, further expanding its cooperation with Volvo.
In 2019, KSD, as a strategic supplier, successively won the full-vehicle wiring harness business of XC40 electric vehicles and P519 models (electric vehicles). These two models are Volvo's pure electric vehicle platform models. The solid business foundation laid by KSD on Volvo's electric vehicle platform will definitely bring more product business opportunities to KSD and DEREN Group in the future, and help the company grasp the business opportunities in the future mainstream electric vehicle market. At present, KSD's market share has risen to 22%.
In the management of the new project, KSD ensured delivery through the process, strengthened the management of materials and equipment, and completed the preparation of each stage in advance. After winning the Outstanding Production Contribution Award from Volvo Customers in 2019, in 2020 KSD has accumulated richly and broken forth vastly, exceeding the customer's expectations in terms of delivery, quality and cost, and has been awarded the highest honor of the supplier-the Best Supplier Award by the customer.

This recognition is the result of KSD standing out among more than 170 suppliers, which is also the highest honor given by customers. It also represents that KSD will definitely gain more business and recognition among Volvo customers in the future.
In this conference, Mr. Wang Dapeng, Vice President of DEREN Group, took the stage on behalf of KSD to receive the award and made a speech on the strategic development of suppliers in the core supplier forum, which was widely recognized by customers and suppliers.
